
Accurate water measurement is critical for high-end dispensers — and the right sensor installation makes all the difference. Follow these steps to get it right the first time.
Step 1: Locate the Water Inlet Line
Identify the main water inlet on your dispenser. This is where the flow sensor will be placed inline to measure output accurately.
Step 2: Choose the Right Connector
Select a barbed or smooth connector based on your tubing type. A proper fit prevents leaks and ensures consistent flow readings.
Step 3: Install the Sensor Inline
Insert the sensor into the water line, making sure the flow direction arrow on the sensor body aligns with the actual water flow. Incorrect orientation will result in inaccurate readings.
Step 4: Connect the 3-Wire Output
Wire the sensor to your PCB:
Red → Power (VCC)
Black → Ground (GND)
Yellow/White → Signal output
Secure all connections before powering on.
Step 5: Run a Leak & Function Test
Power on the system and run water through the line. Verify:
✔ No leaks at connector joints
✔ Stable signal output on your PCB
✔ Accurate flow readings match expected values
